Founded in 1982, Burton Roofing Merchants Ltd is a construction supplier with 37 branches strategically positioned throughout the UK and, with over 20,000 product lines, they assist their customers in the supply and distribution of roofing materials.

As the one of UK’s largest Roofing Merchants, they are firmly aware of the trust that their customers put in them to provide the best quality products for the jobs they need.

SOLUTION

The project itself was a collaborative effort between Burton Roofing Merchants & Alcor Handling Solutions teams.

The need to get away from fossil fuelled forklift trucks to create a more sustainable environment for the business and its employees was the main factor in driving the project forward.

After extensive site evaluations and product demonstrations, Burton Roofing Merchants awarded a contract to Alcor Handling Solutions.

RESULT
The new trucks are already making a positive impact on the operations and will help deliver benefits to all areas of the business.
